With just a few weeks left of my maternity leave ( sob sob) I thought I would share some of the things which have made my time at home with the kids so much cosier and kept me sane! Continue reading

How awesome are these?

I am still in awe by how Mr. Price has spoilt me and my munchkins at the #CTmomblogmeet (see my previous post here). Not only did they spoil us with gifts, they have also sponsored a little giveaway for 1 lucky reader of Hayley’s Joys.

I love shopping at Mr. Price, especially via their online store. As a busy Mom, it saves me time by avoiding going to the store, searching for sizes and not having to stand in long queues. Delivery is fast and if the goods are not suitable I can easily exchange them in any store. Continue reading

I spent my Saturday morning with the best Mommy Bloggers in Cape Town! Cindy Alfino from 3 Kids 2 Dogs 1 House was the organizer and  host of the meet up and done an AMAZING job! We met at Graze in Kenilworth – such an awesome venue – I’m definitely going back with my family very soon. They have the most fabulous kiddies menu ever and their Grilled ham and cheese, poached egg and mushroom sauce breakfast is just heavenly. Continue reading

He’s really into fixing things like his Dad and so the theme of the party was along the lines of Bob the Builder. Just look at the cool cake. Continue reading

Bobbi Browns mission is to teach every women to be her own make up artist and that was exactly what I came to learn… Continue reading

Whatever!

IMG_4496

Alyssa and I were like WHATEVER this weekend, enjoying the li’l bit of sunshine Cape Town had to offer.

I found both our “Whatever” jerseys at Mr Price – i just had to grab them when I saw them. As far as i know, the saying “Whatever” was made popular by the 90’s movie Clueless. Anyone who knew me back then would know that i was totally obsessed with the movie…. so obsessed that i would watch it every single day as soon as I arrived home from school while pretending to do my homework. I memorised almost every line of the movie and I used “Whatever”, “as If” or “thats like so five years ago” in almost every sentance. (I think i may still use these phrases…. perhaps not that often now)
